Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation to improve patient mobility and function.
• Deliver high-quality care directly in patients' homes, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, providing guidance on exercises and lifestyle modifications to promote healthier living.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to ensure compliance with state regulations and facilitate effective communication with referring physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to continuously enhance treatment effectiveness and share best practices.
• Set and achieve minimum utilization goals, contributing to the overall success of the practice and fostering a culture of excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients managing conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain syndromes. This role also allows for interaction with diverse populations, including pediatric patients, individuals recovering from neurological injuries, and athletes seeking performance enhancement. Your approach will be centered on building strong patient relationships, enabling you to understand their unique challenges and tailor interventions that align with their personal goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient education and documentation.
• Proficient in technology and able to utilize electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based rehabilitation approaches, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with patients, enhancing their motivation and engagement in the recovery process.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to health and wellness.
• Experience working in a home care setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
