Bernards Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Carteret, New Jersey. This full-time position involves providing high-quality home care therapy to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. This position requires on-site work in clients' homes within Carteret and surrounding areas. You will have the flexibility to choose your hours, with a Monday to Friday schedule that allows you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their home environment to establish their physical therapy needs and to create individualized treatment plans.

Utilize a variety of methods and techniques, such as therapeutic exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.

Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations and response to therapy.

Recommend and fit patients with appropriate assistive devices, and provide training for them, their caregivers, and family members to ensure safe and effective use.

Engage in continuous education through workshops, professional publications, and networking to maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field.

Our patient population includes children and adults recovering from various orthopedic conditions, injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will primarily focus on patients with orthopedic needs, ensuring that your expertise directly contributes to their recovery and well-being.

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in computer systems, and a commitment to maintaining professional standards.
