Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will operate within a home care setting, allowing for a personalized approach to treatment and rehabilitation. This onsite role provides flexibility in scheduling, enabling you to choose your hours from Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize techniques such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and hands-on therapy to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based methods tailored to patients' specific recovery needs in their home environments.
• Regularly document each patient's treatment progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about exercises and assistive devices to promote independence in activities of daily living.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advancements in physical therapy by engaging in professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population served includes individuals of all ages facing varying degrees of physical impairment due to injuries, surgical recovery, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and patient management.
• Possess the physical agility and flexibility to perform therapy and assist patients safely.

Preferred Experience
