Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite with home care visits, allowing you to work directly with patients in their living environments. Your standard work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while allowing ample time for patient interactions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and limitations, establishing personalized therapy plans to address their specific needs.
• Treat an average of three adult patients per hour, utilizing hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational resources to facilitate optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Employ a variety of treatment methods, incorporating advanced rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to create a cohesive and comprehensive care experience for your patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation utilizing the CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families regarding exercise regimens, pain management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this position is primarily on adult patients ranging from 40 to 65 years old, many of whom are dealing with orthopedic issues or recovering from surgeries. You will play a pivotal role in their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain their strength, mobility, and independence through tailored physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient communication and relationships, ensuring an empathetic and supportive approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient care, though this is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the specific needs and challenges faced by the adult patient population, particularly in an orthopedic context.
• Experience with electronic medical records, particularly with the CureMD system, is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
