Work Environment

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist role at Pro Rehab is primarily onsite, focusing on delivering therapy in a home setting. You will visit the homes of patients, evaluating their environments and tailoring treatment plans that foster their independence. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle function for patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Oversee the execution of care plans by Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and the patients' evolving needs.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tests to determine each patient's functional abilities and tailor interventions accordingly.
• Assess the home environment of patients to provide insights and recommendations improving their safety and independence during rehabilitation.
• Deliver hands-on treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and application of physical agents like traction and massage.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on observed changes and collaborating with physicians and case managers.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to develop, evaluate, and modify care plans collectively, optimizing patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on the use of therapeutic devices and proper care, promoting engagement in their recovery process.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, such as evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Support community resource assessment and utilization to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
