This position is located onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Matawan, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, employing clinical knowledge to establish a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Provide expert consultation to colleagues and healthcare providers to facilitate a seamless continuum of care for patients.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service by effectively communicating with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, ensuring a supportive and understanding environment.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on ongoing evaluations and patient progress.
• Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and charges accurately and in compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including other therapists, physicians, and support staff, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in departmental leadership functions including marketing, cost containment, program development, and the supervision and mentoring of physical therapy assistants and students.
• Engage in professional development by attending staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills is necessary to manage patient records and billing information.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting, preferably in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
