Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through comprehensive assessments, including strength, range of motion, and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific orthopedic conditions while monitoring patient progress diligently.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to optimize patient care.
• Continuously document treatment interactions and patient responses in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure accurate tracking of progress.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, guiding them through home exercise programs, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive care strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices to continuously improve treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population suffering from a variety of orthopedic issues, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain conditions. Our patients range from young athletes to senior citizens, and your goal will be to tailor rehabilitation approaches to fit their unique needs, encouraging all patients to reach their functional and physical potential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is required.

Compensation and Benefits
