Work Environment

You will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center designed with the latest technology to support optimal recovery outcomes. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and spacious treatment areas, ensuring both comfort and efficiency for patients and staff alike. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent and balanced work-life atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of adult patients, primarily aged 40-65, aiming to treat up to three patients per hour in an effective and timely manner.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and educational strategies, to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Effectively collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Utilize CureMD EMR for accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment protocols, and communications, contributing to seamless care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adults within the age range of 40 to 65 who are recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. You will work closely with patients dealing with conditions such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. The focus on this particular patient demographic allows for specialized and impactful treatment strategies individualized to address their unique recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Master's degree is preferred.
• Active or eligible license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to apply best practices in patient care.
• Excellent communication skills to foster meaningful patient relationships and a positive team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a background in outpatient care considered a plus.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, particularly CureMD, is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Prior experience working with orthopedic patients will enhance your capability in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
