This full-time position will allow you to work closely with patients to enhance their mobility and overall quality of life. Work Environment

The role is onsite at our state-of-the-art facility, where we utilize a comprehensive 5000-square-foot sports medicine area equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic equipment. You will be working with a dynamic team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collegial atmosphere that encourages professional development. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured and supportive environment that allows you to focus on patient care without the distractions of extended hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs, goals, and conditions of each patient.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, establishing a baseline for progress.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and exercise programming, designed to restore function and alleviate pain.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour to ensure quality interactions and thorough follow-ups.
• Document all treatment services and maintain accurate records of patient progress, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• Motivate and educate patients on self-management techniques to encourage long-term recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify care plans as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through education on fitness, wellness, and injury prevention.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Our clinic primarily serves patients with various orthopedic conditions, many of whom are covered by private medical insurance. The clientele ranges from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals managing chronic pain or post-surgical rehabilitation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates who have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no recorded board actions or disciplinary measures.
• At least two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Strong communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in a private practice setting, familiarity with evidence-based protocols, and expertise in sports medicine will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
