Work Environment

This position is full-time and onsite, requiring a commitment to working Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop customized care plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Implement effective treatment strategies utilizing a diverse range of manual therapy modalities and exercise programs, ensuring comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing you to devote ample time to each patient for more personalized care.
• Utilize EMR software such as Web PT for precise documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment as necessary to optimize results and foster recovery.
• Involve patients in their treatment journey, motivating them to adhere to prescribed exercises and lifestyle changes that enhance health and mobility.
• Promote non-surgical interventions and strategies to minimize reliance on medications, supporting a longer-term approach to health and wellness.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest research-backed physical therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population at our outpatient clinic, treating individuals with various orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. This role emphasizes rehabilitation focused on enhancing mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall functional performance, primarily for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and effective exercise programming strategies.
• Knowledgeable in utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation.
• A passion for continuous learning and keeping abreast of advancements in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic setting is highly preferred.
• Specialization or certification in sports rehabilitation or orthopedic physical therapy is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

Rothman Therapeutics offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
