Moon Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This full-time position involves working directly with patients to help them achieve optimal mobility and functionality through tailored rehabilitation programs. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office located in the vibrant community of Jersey City, known for its rich culture and easy accessibility to New York City. The office features advanced sports medicine technology and is designed to provide a comfortable, efficient environment for both staff and patients. The work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing a work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of patients to identify their unique rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Manage a caseload effectively, treating approximately one patient per hour while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Document treatment services meticulously to track progress, ensure continuity of care, and meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and prevent injuries.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The emphasis is on providing a holistic approach to rehabilitation, with a focus on improving patients' functional capabilities, reducing pain, and minimizing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and has experience in developing customized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to use evidence-based interventions for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience in assisting patients with diverse backgrounds and conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
