Work Environment

Working on-site in a fast-paced rehabilitation facility, you will be part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality physical therapy. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance while enabling you to make a significant impact during your working hours. The atmosphere is lively and engaging, characterized by active teamwork and mutual support. You will manage a caseload of around 7 patients per day, fostering meaningful relationships and providing tailored therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their individual needs and develop customized therapy plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement advanced rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance patient outcomes and improve functional abilities.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, guiding them through the recovery journey and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and communicate patient progress effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will provide individualized care tailored to the unique needs of each patient, allowing them to regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing a diverse caseload.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
