Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments to evaluate their physical abilities, limitations, and needs.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments, aligning with best practices and the latest rehabilitation techniques.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions and demonstrate exercises that promote recovery and strength.
• Utilize tools such as therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques to support patient rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery procedures, self-management strategies, and injury prevention.
• Document all treatment interventions and patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with outpatient clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neuromuscular conditions. Our patient-focused approach ensures that each individual receives tailored attention that meets their unique rehabilitation goals. With a manageable load of seven patients per day, you can provide optimal care and support that fosters successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active New York State physical therapy license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required. Candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be prioritized.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient physical therapy experience.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
