Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment programs tailored to each patient's needs, emphasizing recovery from orthopedic issues, pain relief, and improving muscle function.
• Manage and supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to care plans and quality standards.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint function, and overall performance capabilities.
• Analyze the home and outpatient environment to optimize rehabilitation facilities and recommend modifications to enhance patient independence.
• Administer manual therapeutic techniques, such as exercises, traction, and massage, while guiding patients in performing non-manual exercises.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and make clinical recommendations to the referring physician.
• Document clinical progress and maintain accurate patient records, including evaluations, progress notes, and care plans, complying with OASIS and other regulatory standards.
• Take part in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss case management and treatment planning.
• Consult with patients, families, and healthcare personnel to educate about physical therapy devices and recovery strategies.
• Oversee junior therapists and assist clinical staff, maintaining communication and support when providing treatment.
• Complete required documentation and reporting accurately and in a timely fashion per company policy.

Compensation and Benefits

Ortho Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
