This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in the heart of Union City, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify individual goals and needs, developing personalized treatment plans through evidence-based practice.
• Manage an efficient caseload of patients, providing hands-on treatment techniques, education, and therapeutic exercises focused on rehabilitation.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and knowledge of orthopedic conditions to facilitate patient recovery and mobility.
• Renown for working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care effectively.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient progress, treatment sessions, and billing information in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility standards.
• Engage actively in professional development, staying current with advancements in physical therapy methodologies and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Collaboration with patients on their rehabilitation journeys is a priority, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored and adequate for their specific lifestyle and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience providing physical therapy services, with a strong focus on outpatient orthopedic settings.
• A clean record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and various therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to work independently while thriving within a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing patient-centered treatment plans and adapting treatment approaches based on real-time feedback.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and their families on therapy procedures and progress.
• Previous involvement in mentorship or teaching in a PT setting is a plus, as we value knowledge sharing within our team.

Compensation and Benefits
