Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess a patient's physical condition and rehabilitation needs.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, employing manual techniques and a variety of therapeutic exercises tailored to individual patient profiles.
• Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs that align with patient goals and physician recommendations.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery plans, injury prevention strategies, and post-treatment care requirements.
• Engage in active collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems for efficient tracking and communication.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to adapt to evolving rehabilitation needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our facility, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-surgical patients needing rehabilitation, and individuals managing chronic pain or musculoskeletal conditions. Our commitment to personalized care allows us to address the unique challenges each patient faces on their journey towards recovery, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate in the field is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, in good standing.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience working in an orthopedic setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.
• A clear licensure history with no previous actions taken against the board is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic or similar rehabilitation environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methods directed at ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and rapport with patients, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
