Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Human Touch Rehab Center, you will work onsite in patients' homes, providing you with the chance to make a meaningful impact in a relaxed and supportive setting. Our home care facility allows therapists to develop strong relationships with patients by offering personalized treatment plans and ensuring a comfortable therapeutic experience. Your work week will be structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, maintaining a healthy work-life balance while delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physical assessments for new patients, documenting findings meticulously to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation strategies that cater to the unique requirements of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Guide patients through targeted exercises aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functional performance, adjusting techniques based on their progress.
• Apply advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, reduce tension, and promote optimal recovery outcomes.
• Continually monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changing needs and improve clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic cases, catering to a diverse patient population that includes post-operative recovery individuals, sports injury patients, and those managing chronic pain. You will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, showcasing a clear and professional record of practice.
• No less than 2 years of clinical experience in providing physical therapy services, with a preference for orthopedic specialization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience interacting with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings, understanding the nuances of providing therapy in a client's personal environment.
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Background in conducting patient education sessions to empower individuals with self-management strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment to patient care.
