Up And Running Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic Orthopedic Outpatient practice located in Waldwick, New Jersey. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Waldwick clinic, which is designed specifically for orthopedic rehabilitation. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and technology, ensuring that our Physical Therapists can provide the highest quality of care. The working schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, making it ideal for those looking for a reassuring routine. You will typically handle two patients per hour, allowing for personalized attention and thorough engagement with each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Develop and guide patients through customized rehabilitation programs that focus on their specific injury or condition.
• Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accessibility and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse client demographic, including athletes, active individuals looking to return to their daily routines, and elderly patients seeking to maintain mobility. Our approach is holistic, and you will have the opportunity to see the tangible impact of your care on patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.
• A clean licensure history, with no prior board actions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with sports rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery.
• Knowledge of advanced treatment techniques such as dry needling or kinesiotaping.
• Familiarity with patient education and support groups.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
