Core Balance Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking an experienced and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Clifton, New Jersey. This full-time position focuses on providing patient-centered care in a home care setting, where you will utilize your expertise to support our clients in reclaiming their mobility and enhancing their quality of life. About the Organization

At Core Balance Physical Therapy Clinic, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of orthopedic outpatient care. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest sports medicine technology to support a wide range of rehabilitative and performance-enhancing services. Our dedicated team, composed of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), collaborates closely to deliver exceptional care to our diverse patient population, who primarily have private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This role offers the unique opportunity to work in a home care setting, allowing for personalized interactions with patients in their own environments. As a Physical Therapist in this setting, you will engage in one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring that your services fit seamlessly into the daily lives of those you are helping. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent schedule that facilitates work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize and fulfill the goals and needs of each patient effectively.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one individual per hour, ensuring quality, personalized treatment interventions.
• Develop individualized care plans using a variety of treatment techniques, integrating evidence-based practices that best suit each patient's condition.
• Implement cost-effective treatments designed to enhance clients' mobility and overall function, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapeutic journeys, facilitating engagement and compliance with their exercise regimens.
• Document all services and treatment outcomes accurately to support quality improvement and reimbursement processes.
• Evaluate treatment effects continuously and communicate progress to patients and referring physicians, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices through education on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient therapy. Patients often include athletes, post-surgical clients, and individuals recovering from injuries. We focus on personalized care, taking into account each patient's unique circumstances and long-term rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Strong skills in developing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• A strong background in sports medicine or rehabilitation therapies will be considered an asset.
• Effective communication skills to engage with a diverse patient population and healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits
