Work Environment

This position is based in a home care setting, where you will provide one-on-one therapy directly in patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization, to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, progress, and home exercise programs.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to adjust treatment plans as necessary, utilizing our state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries.
• Participate in regular professional development and learning opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As such, you will encounter a diverse range of cases that require precise assessment and tailored treatment plans. Your ability to adapt techniques to meet varying physical abilities will be crucial in optimizing recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, preferably a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in New Jersey, mandated by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills suitable for a “Direct Access” clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home care environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation best practices.
• Finished a clinical residency or fellowship in orthopedic physical therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based bonus structure.
