Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Bogota, New Jersey. You will be part of a collaborative environment where interdisciplinary teamwork is encouraged. Our facilities are equipped with modern rehabilitation technology and therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound and electrical stimulation equipment, allowing you to provide the most effective treatment options. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess physical conditions and functional limitations of patients, utilizing various assessment tools and techniques.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, focusing on restoring mobility and alleviating pain.
• Utilize a combination of manual therapy, targeted therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to aid in patient recovery.
• Provide patient education on injury prevention strategies, proper movement mechanics, and effective home exercises to foster independence in their recovery process.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with orthopedic specialists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards by maintaining precise and confidential clinical records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Many patients seek our services for rehabilitation following joint replacements, fractures, back pain, and stroke recovery. Your efforts will directly impact their journey toward regaining mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; DPT preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating a strong background in manual therapy and rehabilitative exercises.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) to document patient interactions and progress.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Familiarity with the latest physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices in orthopedic care.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic areas or modalities are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and generous paid time off (PTO) policies.
