Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical health, assessing their functional capabilities and limitations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target specific orthopedic issues and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to improve patient mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility.
• Engage in clinical teaching by mentoring physical therapy interns and students, providing them with hands-on learning experiences.
• Lead annual in-service training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills regarding orthopedic physical therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to refine treatment approaches and introduce innovative therapeutic techniques.
• Contribute insights towards clinical research initiatives within your areas of expertise, supported by management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery after surgeries such as joint replacements, trauma rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our focus is on empowering patients to regain their functional independence while navigating their rehabilitation journey in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is mandatory for this role.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within an orthopedic setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse patient population.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred, showcasing your commitment to excellence in this specialty.

Compensation and Benefits
