VIP Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking an experienced and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Teaneck, New Jersey. Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, leverage innovative treatment philosophies, and help foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, utilizing various evaluation tools to identify functional limitations and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and home exercise programs to facilitate long-term wellness.
• Participate in clinical teaching, providing instruction and mentorship to physical therapy interns, students, and residents, while enhancing the educational offerings of the facility.
• Prepare and deliver at least one annual in-service training, contributing to the professional development of staff and enhancing the quality of care provided.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives, collaborating with management to explore advancements within your area of clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. You will utilize your specialized knowledge to empower each individual on their rehabilitation journey, focusing on restoring mobility, decreasing pain, improving strength and flexibility, and enhancing overall function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid and active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating proficiency in assessment and treatment practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred but not required.
• Experience in utilizing advanced rehabilitation modalities and software for patient management.
• Familiarity with current trends in orthopedic rehabilitation and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
