Position Overview

Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient team in the heart of Cresskill, New Jersey. This full-time role offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Work Environment

Working onsite at our rehabilitation center in Cresskill, you will find an engaging atmosphere that fosters collaboration and learning. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support diverse rehabilitation needs. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing advanced testing methods, clinical observations, and patient interviews to assess their physical condition.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, and pain management, ensuring they align with the patient's specific goals.
• Implement evidence-based exercise programs tailored to different ability levels, addressing comorbidities, and adjusting plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, contributing to quality patient care and continuity across the healthcare team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team, addressing any concerns or barriers to ensure an optimal rehabilitation experience.
• Provide education to patients about their rehabilitation roles, empowering them to take an active part in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who range from post-operative individuals to those experiencing chronic pain or mobility issues. Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey is a must.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or accredited Master's level program in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in orthopedics.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and ability to create multi-faceted programs that cater to patients with various physical limitations and comorbidities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently while also being a proactive team player in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of previous experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have specific orthopedic experience. Familiarity with the latest therapeutic modalities and techniques will be advantageous, as well as previous involvement in research or continuing education related to orthopedics.
