Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify physical impairments and establish individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings.
• Design and implement targeted therapy regimens that cater to the specific goals and conditions of each patient, modifying approaches as necessary for maximum effectiveness.
• Effectively manage a diverse range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular issues, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education strategies to support healing, recovery, and improved function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care and successful patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, with a preference for WebPT proficiency.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on best practices and emerging therapies in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve consists mainly of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and functionality. You will be instrumental in guiding patients through their rehabilitation, helping them regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with extensive experience in specialized treatment approaches, such as sports rehabilitation or geriatric care, and those with certifications in specialized therapies such as orthopedic manual therapy, will be highly regarded. Experience in developing patient education materials and leading group therapy sessions will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitively set between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
