Position Overview

InCore Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to become an integral member of our rehabilitation team in Waldwick, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is based in our onsite Rehabilitation Center in Waldwick, NJ. The center offers a supportive atmosphere equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and treatment rooms designed for various therapies, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. As a full-time therapist, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging closely with your peers and management in a dynamic setting that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, strength, and mobility to determine their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implement advanced diagnostic techniques to craft effective, personalized therapy programs aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain.
• Utilize a combination of evidence-based practices, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and specialized modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise programs to empower them in their recovery process.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to streamline patient care and ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
• Maintain open and effective communication with patients, their families, and caregivers, ensuring a holistic and coordinated approach to rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals with chronic pain conditions. By focusing on functional mobility and strength, you will help patients regain confidence in their physical abilities and improve their quality of life. Your role will be pivotal in transforming how individuals view their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical or outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

InCore Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
