Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, utilizing assessments that include physical examinations and functional capacity evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement hands-on therapy sessions including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to manage pain and restore functionality.
• Instruct patients and their families on at-home exercise regimens and self-care methods to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and support staff to create a cohesive treatment approach that addresses all aspects of the patient's care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring proper documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and orthopedic rehabilitation to bring innovative approaches to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily caters to patients with orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will engage with a diverse population of adults seeking both rehabilitative and preventative care, enabling you to make a significant impact on their mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating proficiency in treating musculoskeletal conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy.
• A deep understanding of advanced manual therapy techniques for pain management and functional restoration.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
