Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's specific needs to improve mobility and functionality.
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes meticulously to ensure continuity of care and adherence to best practices.
• Provide educational resources and coaching to patients and their families on home exercises, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health and wellness.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration with other healthcare providers, including physical therapy assistants and physicians, to ensure a cohesive treatment process.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary and proactively addressing any changes or concerns with the patient's family and referring physician.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic orthopedic conditions. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring functionality and improving quality of life. Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy is mandatory; candidates with a Doctorate or Master's degree in the field will be prioritized.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, ideally with a focus on outpatient orthopedics, is required (recent graduates with robust clinical internships are encouraged to apply).

Compensation and Benefits
