Work Environment

This position will operate in the field as a part of our home care team, allowing for a dynamic and diverse working environment. You will travel to patients' residences throughout Paterson and surrounding areas, delivering therapy in a comfortable and familiar setting for each individual. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive orthopedic physical therapy services to patients of diverse age groups, utilizing expert knowledge of assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Conduct detailed evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans reflecting each patient's needs, aspirations, and medical history.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, continually assessing patient progress and modifying plans to optimize outcomes.
• Engage closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to deliver holistic care.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, equipping them with essential injury prevention strategies, home exercise routines, and self-care tips.
• Document patient progress in compliance with professional standards and relevant laws, ensuring quality of care and streamlined communication across healthcare networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a wide spectrum of patients who are recovering from orthopedic conditions, including those post-surgery, those experiencing chronic pain, and athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries. You will be instrumental in guiding patients of all ages—including children, adults, and seniors—toward recovery and improved function, ultimately contributing to their independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating a strong ability in patient assessment and treatment.
• Outstanding communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

In return for your invaluable contributions, Empower Move Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
