Work Environment

This onsite position involves providing therapy in homes across the Northvale area, emphasizing a personalized approach to rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, identifying strengths and areas for improvement to establish a clear understanding of their rehabilitation needs.
• Develop tailored therapy programs that align with each patient's recovery goals, adapting interventions as progress is made.
• Implement treatment for a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular challenges, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Employ manual therapy methods, guided therapeutic exercises, and patient education practices to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records (EMR), utilizing systems such as WebPT for efficient and effective communication.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients span a diverse range, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic conditions, and patients with complex rehabilitation needs. You will work with patients of various ages and backgrounds, helping them to overcome physical barriers and regain their independence. Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a related setting, showcasing your competency and expertise in physical therapy practices.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and experience with various patient populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record software; familiarity with WebPT is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
