Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Move Mend Clinic, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough screenings, evaluations, and assessments to diagnose patients' injuries and conditions accurately.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on objective findings, physician referrals, and patient input, including specific goals and measurable outcomes.
• Utilizing evidence-based physical therapy modalities and procedures to restore function, reduce pain, and enhance patient mobility.
• Providing education to patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, techniques, and home exercise regimens for optimal recovery.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of patient evaluations and treatment progress to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate effective communication among the care team.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants and aides, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and participating in continuing education programs for personal and team growth.
• Maintaining equipment according to safety guidelines and acting as a resource for staff regarding rehabilitation techniques and innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric individuals. Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and current state Physical Therapist license.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program; Master's or DPT degree preferred.
• At least one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with exposure to outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
