Work Environment

Our Physical Therapist will work within a primarily home care setting, providing in-person treatments in the patients' homes as well as engaging with telehealth when deemed clinically appropriate. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for patients, particularly children, assessing their physical capabilities and developing personalized treatment strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aiming to mitigate pain, improve mobility, and enhance daily functioning.
• Regularly assess patients' progress through clinical evaluations, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including SOAP notes, progress reports, and care plans using our electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises and recovery strategies, preparing them for the challenges ahead in their healing journey.
• Meet productivity standards and business objectives while actively contributing to the clinic's overall goals and patient service excellence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment for patients receiving multiple services, sharing insights and progress effectively.
• Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the values and culture of Physiocare as a community hub dedicated to patient welfare.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily serve a diverse patient demographic, including children with developmental needs, adults recovering from surgeries or injuries, and individuals requiring rehabilitation for chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A valid Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Ability and willingness to perform in-person evaluations as well as utilize telehealth platforms as needed.
• A strong desire to work with a diverse patient population, demonstrating cultural competence.
• Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, evolving healthcare environment is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting and demonstrate strong customer service skills in patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pediatric therapy or working with patients with special needs is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation processes is preferred.
• Previous experience in a home care or telehealth setting is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
