Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and determine their functional capabilities.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual assessment findings, goals, and patient history.
• Utilize hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and muscle re-education to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress throughout the therapy process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on effective body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Document treatment interventions and patient responses meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date health records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Board certification through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
