Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in Clifton, New Jersey. You'll be working closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, and other orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing tailored care plans that promote recovery and improve mobility.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Guide and motivate patients through therapeutic processes, integrating fitness and wellness strategies that align with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments administered, and progress made, ensuring comprehensive and accurate records for each case.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that addresses all aspects of an individual's health.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to evolving patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from joint replacements, fractures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from young athletes to older adults seeking to regain their independence. Your focus will be on minimizing reliance on medications and alternatives to surgery through proactive physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active certification as a Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise regimens.
• Experience with specialized equipment relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation, such as functional movement screening tools.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based practice and outcomes measurement in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
