The Physical Therapist role is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Clifton, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' current physical function and limitations, developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and pertinent physical agents to treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
• Monitor patient progress through consistent assessments and make necessary modifications to treatment plans which improve functional independence.
• Document patient care services comprehensively in line with Kessler Rehabilitation Center's standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate and motivate patients on exercises and self-management strategies to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Interact with patients during treatment sessions to provide encouragement and support, ensuring adherence to prescribed care plans.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to keep abreast of the latest research and developments in orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves treating adult and geriatric patients with a focus on orthopedic conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and degenerative joint diseases. You will be instrumental in helping patients return to their daily activities and improve their overall physical well-being. Your expertise will allow you to create customized wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, and resilience, addressing the unique challenges faced by our clientele.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey; licensure in Connecticut is preferred.
• A genuine interest and experience specifically in treating orthopedic populations is essential.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required for this role. Your experience should include orthopedic patient care, demonstrating a strong ability to evaluate patient needs and implement effective treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
