Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatment plans tailored to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore maximum function in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Overseeing the work of physical therapy assistants to ensure effective implementation of individualized care plans.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal and functional capabilities, utilizing evidence-based diagnostic methods.
• Assessing patients in their home environments, providing modifications and recommendations to enhance their independence.
• Administering manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, motivating and guiding patients through prescribed regimes.
• Documenting patient assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries with precision while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols.
• Participating actively in multi-disciplinary team conferences to discuss care strategies and collaborate on patient treatment plans.
• Educating patients and their families about physical therapy devices and total care programs, empowering them to take an active role in the recovery process.
• Completing timely and accurate administrative tasks such as submitting clinical documentation and payroll records in adherence to branch policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with diverse patient demographics, including adults and the elderly, who depend on your expertise to navigate their rehabilitation journeys. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current physical therapy licensure in good standing within New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
