Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine functional limitations and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities
• Apply techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrical stimulation to address areas of dysfunction.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, home care strategies, and lifestyle choices that promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluation outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes as per healthcare compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Advocate for patient independence by promoting mobility enhancement and pain management techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating patients recovering from orthopedic impairments, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
