Bon Secours Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. Work Environment

As a member of our small, passionate team comprised of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their goals and customize treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and personalized care.
• Implement cost-effective therapies that help enhance mobility and reduce patients' dependency on medications or surgical interventions.
• Develop and document comprehensive care plans using diverse treatment techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Design exercise and wellness programs aimed at fostering improvement in patients' strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Encourage, motivate, and educate patients throughout their treatment processes to maximize functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded treatment approach.
• Evaluate and monitor treatment progress while maintaining thorough documentation of services rendered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy center primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including postoperative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Many of our patients have private medical insurance, enabling us to provide high-quality, individualized care. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred).
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software is essential; experience with WebPT is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong background in manual therapy and advanced rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience with patient education and motivation strategies to enhance adherence to treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
