Work Environment

As part of our onsite rehabilitation center, you will work in a supportive and dynamic clinic atmosphere. Each day, you'll engage with a team of skilled therapists and healthcare providers dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a steady workload while maintaining a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical function, mobility, and overall health.
• Develop tailored rehabilitation plans that incorporate targeted manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Guide patients through a defined range of therapeutic exercises, focusing on progressive strength development and functional movement improvement.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment interventions based on individual needs and feedback to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an orthopedic outpatient clientele, including post-operative recovery cases, sports injuries, and chronic pain patients. Each patient presents unique therapeutic challenges, allowing you to apply your clinical skills and creativity in designing effective treatment strategies. Your contributions will play a vital role in their recovery journey, directly impacting their functional abilities and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based orthopedic treatment approaches.
• Background in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs for diverse patient populations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients and families.

Compensation and Benefits
