Work Environment

The work environment at our outpatient office is collaborative and patient-centered, with a team consisting of two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and address individual patient goals and requirements effectively.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, with an emphasis on delivering one-on-one treatments for optimal care.
• Leverage your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to provide cost-effective treatments that enhance mobility.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques tailored to each patient.
• Guide patients through tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to improve their physical condition.
• Use evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, personalized care that is responsive to each patient's needs.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, reinforcing their progress towards functional goals.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and document patient care services accurately to maintain compliance and quality assurance.
• Encourage lifestyle modifications that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, supporting long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues. This includes those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-injury rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid New York State license to practice as a physical therapist.
• A clean professional record, free from any board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid background in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of successfully managing diverse patient cases with varying complexities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with patients and colleagues.
