Work Environment

This position offers an onsite working environment within our outpatient office, allowing for direct interaction and hands-on care with patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify physical limitations and develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Implement effective therapy strategies, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, modifying treatment protocols as necessary based on performance and feedback.
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions and provide guidance on exercises to do at home that will support their rehabilitation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions around best treatment practices and patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from various orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including but not limited to joint replacement, fracture rehabilitation, and sports injuries. You will engage with individuals of all ages, tailoring approaches based on each patient's unique circumstances to foster a collaborative and empowering rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience with electronic medical record systems (WebPT experience is a plus).

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including post-operative rehabilitation patients and those with chronic conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model.
• Understanding of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Ability to handle a patient load of approximately 2 patients per hour while maintaining high-quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
