Human Touch Rehab Center is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Tenafly, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will work collaboratively with patients in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center. Your primary responsibility will be assessing patients' physical conditions and implementing customized therapy programs designed to enhance recovery and promote functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, focusing on their individual challenges and strengths.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with patients' goals, ensuring a clear pathway for their recovery journey.
• Administer treatment for various conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular issues, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Implement advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance recovery and alleviate pain.
• Provide education and guidance to patients on self-management strategies and home exercise programs to reinforce therapy gains.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and seamless coordination of treatment efforts.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR), with familiarity in WebPT being an advantage.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, ranging from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to elderly individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgeries. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, each requiring personalized attention and specialized rehabilitation strategies tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating competence in comprehensive patient care.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and experience with EMR systems to efficiently document patient interactions and outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation and knowledge of current modalities and therapies.
• Skill in mentorship for junior therapists and assistants, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Compensation and Benefits

Human Touch Rehab Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
