Up And Running Physical Health Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Closter, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our Closter facility, which is designed to offer a welcoming and therapeutic atmosphere for patients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a balanced work-life dynamic while serving a dedicated patient population. Our working environment encourages teamwork and communication among staff, fostering a supportive and collegial atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on therapy to patients utilizing evidence-based manual techniques and movement-based interventions, tailored to individual needs.
• Design and implement customized rehabilitation exercises, educating patients on their recovery process and strategies for injury prevention.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect improvements or changes in condition.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to develop coordinated care plans that optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a result, you will encounter a diverse clientele, each requiring specific, focused intervention strategies. Your ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients will be key to facilitating their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong grasp of rehabilitation principles.
• Experience using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.
• A clean professional record with no prior board actions, supporting our commitment to high standards of care.

Preferred Experience

• Providing care to a varied demographic, particularly in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• A track record of successful patient outcomes and contributions to clinical protocols and standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
