As a Physical Therapist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients using appropriate tests, clinical observations, and patient-reported symptoms to assess their current status and rehabilitation needs.
• Implement and modify individualized treatment programs based on evaluations, focusing on post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, and pain management strategies.
• Document patient progress clearly and accurately in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Engage patients and their families in discussions regarding treatment options, goals, and rehabilitation exercises, fostering an understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create and refine customized care plans that meet the needs of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design effective therapeutic exercise programs that accommodate patients of all ages and varying physical abilities.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will interact with a diverse group of patients, ranging from adolescents to seniors, each requiring a personalized approach to therapy that reflects their unique circumstances and physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Strong knowledge of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to educate patients effectively on their rehabilitation process.
• Proficient in developing individualized exercise plans and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically with orthopedic patients is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and systems used in outpatient settings.
• A track record of implementing successful pain management programs.
