Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and detailed physical assessments to identify patients' functional capabilities and limitations.
• Create and implement individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's specific needs, goals, and diagnoses.
• Lead exercise sessions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Employ manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, improve circulation, and enhance physical function in patients.
• Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Document evaluations, treatment procedures, and patient progress accurately in a timely manner using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, maintaining effective communication regarding patient care and progress.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery processes, and home exercise programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The caseload you will manage primarily includes adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will play a critical role in helping these patients navigate their rehabilitation journeys with optimism and encouragement, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including post-surgical patients and individuals with chronic pain conditions.
• Familiarity with the latest physical therapy modalities and techniques, as well as therapeutic technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust compensation package, our benefits include:
