Physic Rehab Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Paramus, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position offers a dynamic opportunity to work in an outpatient office, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and enhance recovery processes.

Work Environment

The outpatient clinic where you will be working is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and tools essential for optimal patient care. Our facility is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for patients, where they can engage in their rehabilitation journey with confidence. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing physical function, strength, and mobility to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Implement advanced diagnostic techniques to identify specific treatment requirements, enabling the creation of effective therapy plans.
• Develop individualized therapy programs that focus on restoring functionality, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall physical health.
• Utilize a comprehensive range of therapeutic methods, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and innovative modalities tailored to patient capabilities.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation exercises, and home care routines to promote ongoing health and recovery.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, case managers, and nurses to ensure a cohesive approach to patient treatment and care management.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients and their families to facilitate a smooth and reassuring rehabilitation experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-related injuries. By fostering a patient-centered approach, we aim to address the unique needs and goals of each individual, thereby enhancing their functional independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in orthopedic and sports medicine therapy is essential to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• A strong passion for rehabilitation and helping patients achieve their recovery goals.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedics.
• Prior exposure to utilizing electronic health record systems to document patient interactions and treatment progress.
• Experience in developing and implementing community outreach programs related to health education and injury prevention.

Compensation and Benefits
