Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate their specific needs and identify functional limitations that may impede recovery.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Utilize a diverse range of treatment techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education on self-management strategies.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with a preferred proficiency in WebPT.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a strong preference for experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proficiency in both manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, is highly valued.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical experience, candidates with advanced degrees, additional certifications, or specialized training in orthopedic physical therapy will be given preference. Demonstrated experience in developing progressive rehabilitation programs and managing diverse caseloads effectively is also advantageous.
