Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including gathering relevant medical histories and performing detailed assessments to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families effectively, ensuring they are involved in the goal-setting process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on evaluation results and patient presentations while adapting to changes in their care needs and the healthcare landscape.
• Engage in collaborative consultations with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, recognizing when modifications to treatment plans are necessary.
• Manage the discharge process by planning follow-up care and ensuring thorough documentation of patient encounters, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations according to healthcare standards.
• Demonstrate effective time management and maintain an accurate schedule while meeting productivity expectations and participating in marketing initiatives within the community.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals by adhering to accreditation regulations and participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
• Serve as a mentor for clinical students, fostering their educational experience and developing their competencies in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey, as well as any required state licenses for your specific location(s).
• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• Commitment to professional growth and engagement in continuing education opportunities.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we welcome new graduates who possess a strong foundational knowledge in physical therapy principles.
• Experience with patient documentation and familiarity with electronic health record systems would be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
