Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Premier Health and Wellness Center, your main responsibilities will include:

• Implementing individualized therapeutic treatment plans that emphasize mobility enhancement, strength gain, and functional improvement tailored to each patient's unique condition.
• Guiding patients through specialized therapeutic exercises and stretches designed to accelerate recovery and alleviate pain.
• Educating patients on proper body mechanics and effective exercise techniques, while also developing home exercise programs to encourage ongoing progress.
• Administering various modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and heat/cold therapy, as necessary to facilitate healing.
• Monitoring patient progress meticulously and documenting changes in range of motion, strength, and overall functionality in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining and preparing treatment areas, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are organized and available for therapy sessions.
• Fostering a motivating atmosphere by providing emotional support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse range of patient populations at Premier Health and Wellness Center, including:

• Individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, including knee and hip replacements.
• Patients coping with neurological conditions such as stroke or Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
• Geriatric patients needing assistance to regain independence and mobility.
• Children requiring rehabilitation from sports injuries or developmental disorders.
• Athletes recovering from performance injuries, focusing on sports rehabilitation techniques.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
