TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking an enthusiastic and committed full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Paterson, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility, allowing for direct interaction with patients and a collaborative atmosphere among our healthcare professionals. The ergonomic and modern workspace is designed to facilitate effective therapy sessions while ensuring comfort and safety. Our team currently includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all passionate about promoting the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assess and develop personalized treatment plans that focus on each patient's unique goals and needs. Conduct thorough evaluations to identify movement deficiencies and apply evidence-based interventions.
• Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programs, to optimize patients' functionality and mobility.
• Patient Caseload Management: Effectively manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each session provides optimal value and focus.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes using our EMR software, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive approach to patient treatment, fostering a multidisciplinary atmosphere.
• Patient Motivation: Inspire and guide patients throughout their therapy journey, helping them overcome challenges and promoting adherence to their fitness and wellness plans.
• Lifestyle Promotion: Advocate for healthy living by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination through individualized programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At TheraSense, we primarily serve individuals covered by private medical insurance, which allows us to focus on providing personalized care within a compassionate setting. Our diverse client base includes athletes recovering from injuries, adults dealing with chronic pain, and seniors looking to improve their mobility and independence. This exposure equips our therapists with a rich spectrum of clinical experiences and challenges.

Qualifications

• Eligible candidates must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license is required to practice in New Jersey.
• Candidates must maintain a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• A strong command of manual therapy techniques and the ability to assess and adapt treatment protocols effectively.
• Exceptional skills in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired, ideally with a focus on sports medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment and contribute to shared patient outcomes.
• Experience in developing patient-centric care models aimed at reducing reliance on surgical interventions and medication.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
